I have suffered for well over 20 years with severely debilitating, painful sinus related issues and associated head pain and dizziness. During one such period I was admitted to my local hospital. The usual course of antibiotics were prescribed and I was discharged having been belittling referred to as “ the lady with the headache”. These infections and swellings have made me very miserable and depressed . However last year I was fortunate enough to see Mr Thippeswamy Chandrappa. A really truly patient focussed and caring Consultant. He, to my great personal relief immediately diagnosed my symptoms. Scans confirmed his thorough physical examination. He fully explained what needed to be done and how he would do it. He has now performed the necessary micro surgery and thoroughly informed me of the steps to take in the future . His kindness and patience and compassion is very reassuring. After so many years I am now very positive about the future. This has released a huge burden for me and my family and I can resume living normally again. It also is true to say all of the team that work alongside him are excellent too. From the first point of contact with his ENT secretary who does all she can to help in a very friendly and efficient way through to his good self.

I can’t say anything other than what a lovely surgeon Mr Chandrappa is. I went for my follow up appointment, all on time, helpful, polite staff and pleasant waiting area. My Chandrappa is approachable, kind in his manner, calm, professional and is happy to answer questions and share information about the procedure he has carried out and any other necessary information. The examination was throughly conducted and he was very considerate, gentle and explained what he was doing. I have only the highest praise and real respect for Mr Chandrappa. A big, big thank you, not only to Mr Chandrappa but all the team.

I had nasal surgery to open up my sinuses and surgery to correct a deviated septum. At all times Mr Chandrappa was knowledgeable, attentive and kept me informed at each stage of the process from the initial consultation to the post surgery removal of the plastic stents in my sinuses 6 weeks later. I felt that Mr Chandrappa was invested in my care and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other patients needing similar treatment to my own.
